All CVA ACCURA® V2 models provide a level of accuracy performance that is unequaled by any break-action muzzleloaders on the market today. This degree of precision is attained because ACCURA V2 rifles are equipped with 27’’ premium, custom quality Bergara® barrels. These barrels have quickly become recognized as the most accurate production muzzleloader barrels in the world, and are now available in either Nitride treated stainless steel or standard stainless steel. The ACCURA V2 includes CVA’s Quick-Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable), and the stocks and forestocks are upgraded with a SoftTouch coating and rubber grip panels – making it comfortable and secure even in the foulest weather. These ergonomically designed stocks are fully ambidextrous and are available in both standard and thumbhole designs. One screw disassembly makes the gun easy to take apart for cleaning or travel. And every ACCURA V2 model comes with a Quake® Claw® Sling, Realtree Edge Camo stocks, a DuraSight® Fiber Optic Sights, and a PalmSaver solid aluminum ramrod as standard equipment.
CVA’s Accura V2 “Northwest Gun” offer all of the features that shooters love in our Accura V2 break-action models, while still meeting the open-breech/ignition requirements of Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Our patent-pending NW Ignition System features a modified version of our Quick Release Breech Plug (QRBP) – the only breech plug that is completely finger removable even after multiple firings. This “NW QRBP” has four milled “windows” around the gripping surface, which renders the ignition “open to the elements” as required by the muzzleloading regulations of these states. It also features an integral nipple designed for use with traditional Musket Cap primers, and the face of the plug is funnel shaped for more reliable ignition with loose propellants. Plus, a firing pin sized specifically for musket caps and a stronger firing pin spring provide fast and reliable ignition of the propellant charge.
Note: CVA’s Northwest line of muzzleloading rifles were developed and tested using RWS musket caps. For this reason, we strongly recommend using RWS musket caps with these guns.
